The jury for the Red Dot Design Competition investigates many products from all over the world. This year, 4,928 submissions from 56 countries were received in 31 price categories.

We put our bet on our manoeuvring aid for caravans, the easydriver pro intuitive remote control and are happy to inform you that: the easydriver made by REICH has convinced a jury of 38 international experts and now carries the special distinction “Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015”.

This is a considerable distinction, as the evaluation is not only about good looks, but focuses on many details – from functionality, quality and ergonomics to innovative ideas, a long service life, emotional impact and environmental compatibility to product environment and self-declaration quality. The proud owners of an easydriver pro manoeuvring drive for their caravan can now celebrate this unusual, globally accepted quality seal.

The official ceremony will be on 29 June 2015 at the Aalto Theatre in Essen. Here the easydriver pro, created in our inventions workshop in Hesse, will receive the coveted award. It will then be displayed at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen. That is almost a pity, because it would surely feel most at home on a caravan tour. However, let it enjoy its time in the limelight while we go off to work on the next good idea that will make your caravan holiday easier.
